I think that the Algerian keeper's whiff was almost as bad as Green's. It looks like he was intent on catching it instead of parrying it wide.

the only reason i think this isnt quite as bad is that he actually had to move for the ball and it bounced right in front of him (green just sat there and waited for it, then decided it would be a better idea to just roll it into his own net)...i think the balls are bouncing higher than the players are either used to or expecting. still, it is inexcusable not to get your body behind that shot


^we would obviously draw the short end of that...should just go by rankings if youre gonna do something ridiculous.

germany is young and this is a fairly new team for them, i can see australia giving them a little trouble. tim cahill is awesome and mark schwarzer is a good goalie, but i dont know about the rest of the team. germany should win, but australia aren't a bad team.
