PS3 players. update patch went live at 2am Pacific Time. included all the weapon rebalances that have been live on Xbox for weeks now. should hopefully change the game up some.

also improved voice chat, fucking finally.

Been playing around with the UMP 45 and have had real good success with that + rapid fire and silencer. I don't put up long enough kill streaks to worry about the mags running out so that isn't too big of an issue, will probably start using rapid fire + extended mags when I unlock them.

Best gun I have found other than the PM901 for my style of play. I find the assault rifles too slow to bring up and whatnot after using submachine guns for so long.

I would love to play the MW2 levels with this game, I tried playing MW2 again and with the small changes between the two I was getting straight owned. Still like the levels better (and the fact that the spas as a secondary weapon in that game is freaking sweet )

it's just the replacement for drop zone.


set loadouts. 1 vs. the rest to start. the 1 is "infected" and must kill the rest and turn them infected. basically it's survive or get infected.

its an easy way to get certain achievements, e.g., play an entire match without dying, kill the entire enemy team without dying, 10 killstreak without killstreaks enabled, etc...

Literally just played Infected for 3hrs straight almost. Fun as hell. But you're right, tons of MOABs. Got my first one on Dome going 26-2 from up top on the cat walk facing the tunnel with the sniper rifle.

If you haven't played, it's basically a "camp and fend off the infected" for as long as possible. You'll see people hop up on things that you didn't even know you could hop up on. I learned about so many new places to get up on just by seeing people do it.

You really gotta use tactical insertion diligently though.

my problem with infected is the scoring structure, maybe that's not necessarily the point but it doesn't make sense to me.

In what way?

It keeps score based on who is healthy and who is infected. Once you get to 18-0(everyone infected) the game ends.
