I'd rather not mix it up with SC for recruits. Their staff fucking hates us, and would love to see us get in trouble with the NCAA. I could see them throwing all sorts of accusations at us if he switched his commitment.

Fuck it...let's get our 4th verbal from Torian Graham...not 4th commit...but 4th verbal from Graham himself.

We still need a guard and he's a gunner and a better shooter than Thornwell. Graham and a top big man and we're good to go.

we really don't even need another guard in 2013. we should have 3, probably 4 in lewis, turner, barber and purvis (and warren should be able to play wing too)....

but it sucks to miss on thornwell, especially with 5? open schollies. (and i'd be really surprised if graham ever plays for state)

We're going to lose two big men (CJL and Howell) and two guards (Wood and Brown most likely) next year.

We have a guard and a big man in this class. So we should probably try to get another guard and big man. However, our big men next year will be TDT, Vandy, Warren (I think he can play some PF) and whatever freshmen we can bring in.

If we get a Randle type...then we don't need another big man in this class. But if we can't get an immediate impact big guy, then we probably do need two more. Unless TDT and Vandy shock the world next year, our frontcourt is going to be heavily dependent on young bloods.

I wanted this kid...but I'm partial to shooters. We've got the transfer, but he's no Scott Wood. I want every guard to be a 3-point threat.

To be honest, I thought playing at South Carolina would have been better for an elite guard as our backcourt would be a little crowded. Not saying he wouldn't excel here or be better than anyone else but next year we have:

PG: Lewis, Barber
SG: Purvis, Turner

I don't know what Purvis' chances of leaving are, but even with his speed and ability to get to the basket, he's a little undersized for the 2. If he does stick around, it leaves less time for Thornwell than he would get in Columbia. Sucks we couldn't reel him in though.

if we could just get UNC lucky for once and CJL and Zoboloft came back for their senior years we would be so ridiculously stacked again next year too.

It COULD happen. Neither one of these guys are surefire first round picks yet. Not saying I hope it happens though, because it means they probably didn't have great years.

With Zobo I really don't love his pro potential. He's turnover prone and he can't shoot or guard anyone. He'll also already be 23 before his first pro season. I think he's a late first rounder at best unless he just kills it this year and shows marked improvement from the outside. His height is a plus, but he's pretty thin...

Leslie on the other hand I have mixed feelings about as a pro. He's obviously got the athleticism but the size and shooting are huge question marks. I think he could be okay off the bench for the right team but part of me thinks he'll be a 3-4 year guy before he gets passed up for the next wave of guys with potential. He just strikes me as a guy that will be happy to make the league and not quite do what it takes to stay there.

Thornwell to SC is no surprise.

^^^^^ Cat Barber will replace Brown, Ralston Turner will replace Wood as our 3-pt shooting wing.

Still, we could definitely use a SG who can shoot the ball. Graham comes to mind, if he can ever qualify.

Between Randle, Meeks, Anya and Woodson, we just need 1 to keep out momentum going. 2 would be awesome, but I don't see it happening.

When Thornwell is ready to transfer to a real school we'll probably be the early leaders.

Frank Martin was always known to be dirty at KSU, looks like nothing's changed.

Looks like Woodson goes to the same prep as Moses Kingsley, another C that we were looking at before he committed to Arkansas.

Maybe that means he would be OK sharing a team with Anya or Meeks? (If we were to be so lucky)
