Holy shit, Windowshade!!! I didn't realize those links included a utility to add in my single most missed feature from OS 9. Windowshade kicks serious ass for quick and dirty window management. I wish it was in X, but that would start to clutter the title bar a little bit with a lot of buttons.

(windowshade is the act of collapsing the entire window into just the title bar, like dFshadow has done for those 3 windows up near the top of his screen)

What's the method for activating windowshade? Double clicking the title bar? That's what it was in OS 9 (that and the button on the right of the title bar specifically made for windowshade). In OS X, double clicking the title bar minimizes the window to the dock.

Samurize - it seems to have a lot more pre-made widgets than Konfabulator but they're both custom-scriptable - I doubt I would ever spend the time to make my own widgets. Sometimes has memory leak issues and has to be ended manually through the task manager.

Konfabulator - sleek look, less memory consumption, has a nice konspose feature which allows you to only see widgets and move them around or use them without having to worry about the other windows open. Fewer useful widgets compared to Samurize

Google Desktop - i thought this only had the sidebar. i haven't really seen any widgets for it.

didn't realize it was a contest, sorry my desktop isn't cool enough for you, because after all that is what's most important is what others think... I'll try harder next time

^btw, i thought you would be glad the thread was revived so now ppl can see the 4 different times you posted your desktop in here

\/ nothing much, edited the registry for the black start menu, konfabulator for the weather, and a winamp plug-in called toaster that pops up when a new song starts playing

http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/archives/0511242308_clean.php is where i got the picture from, it's a pretty cool website, basically a blog but instead of words it's just one cool picture a day taken by a photographer in Blackpool, England...some really good pictures in there

why in god's name would you have that horse for a wallpaper?

Talk about a woman who is overweight, has no class WHATSOEVER, and wasn't good looking to begin with

she is not overweight in the least bit. she is the pure embodiment of a real woman and not some fake barbie doll. she has curves in the best places and that's what makes her sexy. and as far as class, i dont give a fuck if she has it or doesnt.

she is absolutely overweight. You might THINK that's what a person is supposed to look like, but she has got enough cottage cheese on those legs to feed a small country.

And don't think for a second she is all "natural". I garaun-damn-tee you she's been under a knife at one point or another.

wtf just cause u have big thighs doesnt mean that ur not healthy. holy fuck ur stupidity is overwhelming on this subject. everyone's body is built differently, therefore the definition of "healthy" is different for each person.

How the hell could she even do cardio with thunder thighs like that?

Having BIG legs is not unhealthy, having FATTY legs is. Look at the difference between her legs and say a female soccer or softball player.

She is overweight.

how can u compare her to a female sports player? sports players are conditioned specifically for their sport. they workout all the time due to their high sports activity. mariah does not play sports, she is a freakin singer. she works out, has a personal trainer. no shit she's not ever gonna look like a sports player.

I'm not a professional sports player, but I work out, and I sure as fuck dont have my thighs rubbing down to my knees.

Nor does a SINGLE fit female I know have such a condition. Because they are in healthy shape.
