I posted this in your thread BoobsR_gr8, but I felt that it should be placed here as well. Yeah, they may look like a shitty lineup in your eyes, but it's very simple on how the White Sox win most of their games: they do all the little things. What I mean by this is that they run well on the basepaths. They steal bases. Podsednik is first in the majors with almost 55 SBs. They lead the majors in stolen bases with 114. They bunt and sacrifice well. They are near the top (2nd currently) in sacrifice hits and bunts. They pitch well. Third in the majors in ERA. They win close games. First in majors as a team in saves. They play good defense. Only 64 errors (near the best in the majors). Sure, their offense is lacking as far as numbers is concerned, but they do what they need to do in order to win.
