damn, that movie is drawing the crowds. The Carolina Theatre in Durham got it on the 6th, and it actually sold out the theater we had it in. We even sold more than half the seats (about 175 sold I think) yesterday for the 1:30 showing. I sell concessions there to make a bit of cash, so I've been making mad tips lately.

The Passion of the Christ was barred from Oscar consideration? Odd, because it was nominated for best cinematography, best makeup, and best original score. Not bad for a movie that just shows some guy getting the shit beat out of him for two hours.

Between being an Ang Lee thing and having awards I decided to I saw it at crossroads, guess I have to be killed now. In all fairness though I did try to see it at the rialto, but it was too crowded. It was worth seeing once.
