arsenal played some epic D the last 10 - 15 minutes of the first half.

dont know how long they can keep that up. i dont see them holding out with only 10 men the whole second half.

I don't either. Best case: arsenal forces sudden death.

But even that's a tall order.

But I'm pullin for em. I got a Viera jersey

A Vieira Juventus jersey?

At least Eboue will be the new poster boy for diving.

Nope no golden goal. 2 15 minute extra sessions then if it's tied a penalty shoot out.

Not in any FIFA competition. FIFA abolished the golden goal last year.

They had it last year during the CL final right? I swear I remember being on the edge of my seat the entire extra sessions.. of course that game last year I doubt will EVER be matched in ANY event..

Oh for the record I don't care who wins. I hope Barca levels and there is some high drama deep into the 120 minute

that was fun. i'm disappointed with ronaldinho, but i guess it's pretty hard to put the moves on in a downpour. oh well, barcelona still won.

it was a great game. would have been awsome with 11 v. 11 but not the best final.

I see all these videos of ronaldinho breaking ankles and zapping shots but when I watch him he does nothing he does in the videos. He is a great player but had a poor game today. I Hope he gets nasty in the WC so I can see some ill shit.

like i said, it was pouring down rain. you can't really juke people out and do the shit ronaldinho does best on a soaked grass field.

Yeah, I was waiting for him to just explode and do something tht would get the team going. Was I expecting the greatest moves? Obviously not, because of the conditions. However, he didn't need to put it all on his shoulders thanks to Eto'o, and the 1 man advantage. It was still a hell of a game.

He wasn't terrible, either. Fact is, up a man or not, he helped a great deal in working the ball around against formidable backs. Also, the pass that he sent that turned Eto'o (the shot that Almunia pushed to the post) was quite nice.

I really wish that red card never happened (I mean it was fair and all, but it really does take a great bit out of the game)

oh well, bring on the world cup.....

Playing devils advocate........it was a good move by emboue (sp?) because they were a man down. They werent doing shit after the red card and when he got that call, they went up 1-0.

Deco does that shit all the time but everyone knows he does it so it doesnt fly.

Saw Henry's and Wenger's post-game interview on FSC via Sky.

Does ref-hating get old to anyone else?
