i just watched it guys...EVERYONE EXCEPT COACH K rushes the court...he buttons his jacket and walks towards the VT sideline...I'll upload the finish and that part too

I'm not saying he's classy, but he shows respect for the teams he plays, their coaches and players. In that respect, I dont know what other word to use except classy.


On the other hand, he curses like a sailor and talks too much to the referees.


They cancel each other out, and he's still a great coach.

I feel bad for VT sports at the moment

2 days of rough losses. Damn dockery, that pissed me off, Virginia Tech deserved to win, Duke will lose to Texas

i dont consider what coach K has become the last 10 years classy.

He's snide and in general just a dick.

He never gives walkons a chance to play, he plays favorites, etc

Its aggravating how he sucks off certain players like Battier and Redick and then is a dick to others...


Good coach, but he's become too caught up in how great he thinks he is...

Two of my major problems with him.

Mainly, it's the two-faced thing. Acts like an angel when he talks to the media (and gets treated like one), and yet he acts like Knight (who gets demonized) on the sidelines--and I'd be willing to bet he's a total bastard in the locker room.

i think he really has in his mind that he is going to win a game if its winnable at the end, and doesnt just say that

the hill/laettner ending has been talked about several times by players involved and they always say the same thing that he told them "we are going to win this game" in the timeout before that shot

i know as a coach you dont want to be like "oh this is gonna be a longshot" but i mean i really think he feels like he IS going to win and expresses that to his players

bob ryan has a great acc book that talks about coach k in the media and in the locker room...it's def. a huge difference, but i think the class is what comes out in the media...like jordan was a dick in the locker room, but i consider him classy on the court and towards the media

havent read every single post, but im pretty sure it hasnt been said yet. duke is lucky as hell to have landed paulus because he was an insanely highly recruited qb and his pass was absolutely perfect pass to dockery, i'd give just as much credit to paulus as i would dockery
