Sam Adams to the Bengals...we needed a big lineman, but I'm not sold on this yet.

how old is moulds? It seems like he is on the downturn of his career, but i don't remember him being around the league that long.

i think moulds like turnin 33 this season, that was one of the main reasons giants wanted him to restructure (and prolly the reason he didn't)

Nat Burleson is a Seahawk now

Quote :
"Finally, wide receiver Eric Moulds is officially a Texan. Moulds had agreed to a four-year, $14 million contract with Houston last week, but the Texans and Bills still had to agree on compensation. Tuesday, the Bills accepted the Texans' offer of a fifth round pick in the upcoming draft, and the deal became official.

Moulds will be the best No. 2 receiver in Texans history… which isn't saying much, considering he eclipses the likes of Corey Bradford and Jabar Gaffney. While Moulds is a definite upgrade who should help keep defenses from focusing exclusively on Andre Johnson, the Texans still require serious assistance on the offensive line in order for David Carr to have time to take advantage of his downfield weapons. Dude Burrelson is nice, but at that price that is ridiculous....I guess they realize they need some dependable hands...but shit...that is alot of money for unproven hands. I know he had pretty good, almost spectacular season last year...but it takes more than one year to establish a star

Burleson was a restricted free agent meaning that the Vikings had the right to match Seattle's contract word for word...Seattle rigged the contract with a clause that said if he played 5 games or more in Minnesota in any year of the contract then every dollar would be guarranteed money, basically 49 mil no matter what happens. Since Minnesota plays 8 home games every year, there was no way they could match the contract

he was also planning on getting a lot more money than any team was willing to offer. I guess he finally came back to reality.

if that would have happend 2 or 3 years ago, it would have helped them a lot, but now....

McNair isn't nearly the player he once was, and baltimore has gotten steadily worse the past few years.

yeah but kyle boller is so awful that mcnair is a huge improvement for them.

as a steelers fan, i'm actually a little worried about this. however, i'm not worried about the 4-4-3 defense that they are rumored to implement next year. we can just pass on that all day long.

Boller actually started to look like an NFL QB toward the end of last season, too bad it took him so long

this was a silly move, Vince Young REALLY wanted to learn under McNair for a year or two
