haha I had actually seen that... wasnt sure I really wanted white or chrome wheels. I also heard that the NATO's were alot heavier and sturdier than ARs. I mean I could paint the white ones, but I would prefer not.

steve what you are calling natos are actually if i was told correctly just early D1 spare rims. they are VERY strong and all but you can get the AR for half the price (or less) of new ones. they also look very good on discoverys with a lil lift like youre getting. you have the hood blackout, the black snorkel, now get the black AR's and spray that chrome front bar and your truck will look really nice.

How many jack points do you have... 2?

The Hellas are'nt wired up yet. I have 6 lights and a a work light in the rear, so I am trying to figure out how to wire all 7 of them all up. I have been looking at Discoweb trying to find a diagram for someones setup. If you wanna help me out I can throw a little money your way.

The OME lift is on backorder so its gonna come sooner or later, probably near the beginning of July. I went ahead and ordered a set of 5 of the AR rims from Gulf Coast today, along with a set of the black teflon lug nuts. Anything has to be better than these huge lug nuts that came stock, its a huge pain in the ass to get them off an on. I'll let you know on that A bar...

Wiring up lights is easy, shouldn't take long at all.

yeah, but when you have seven?

I mean I could wire each set individually, but I would rather have the two on the A Bar on a seperate switch than the four on the rack.

^x5. that was before i started on more rocks. we'd wheel at night on tighter trails/mud. so i did use them, but now i'm down to a pair on the bumper and 2 rock lights. i obviously didn't need 7 lights.

I am planning to do the Border to Border Expedition in the future, and might even make it to Northern Canada as well. Its being built as an expedition vehicle and not a rockcrawler. Everything that is on it is going to be used.

i actually like it. i'd do a front bump though, for a winch if you ever get/plan on getting on. the u can run into stuff and not worry about it.

I would put a front bumper on it if I could find one that didn't suck and didnt cost $900

shit I hope not.... I saw two groups of Jeeps today on the trail to Dickey bell, one group with a bunch of kids and another with a bunch of college age guys in it. In both those groups, there were multiple passengers and no one had doors on. I only saw one CJ flying solo.

All I know is an older guy on a dirt bike approached me as I was leaving for the day and asked if I knew anything about a rolled jeep on dickey bell. He said it was laying upside down, but couldn't find anyone so he assumed they either walked away or somebody gave them a ride down.

I would have gone up to see it myself but we had had a bad day ourselves and were ready to get the hell out of there, besides dickey bell is fuckin long as hell

man I am burnt out for awhile on uwharrie. my runner kept over heating and the battery kept dying b/c of the low speeds and electric cooling fan (ford taurus fan). I'm gonna take my time over the next couple weeks to get it right.

i hear you, get you some water wetter too and dont run a 50/50 mix of coolant/water. more like 80% water and 20% coolant, then 2 bottles of water wetter.
