yea and to host a regional, it's a lot of political work with submitting applications and things earlier in the season. A lot like trying to host a regional during the basketball tournament, but done during the season and how your team does has influence on it as well.

In other words, it's not strictly the top 16 teams.

well pond isn't that great of a runner, so a faster guy (not as good in the field), in the late innings won't hurt us as much as a slow runner (better in the field) would when we need to advance a lot of guys
