Bob has the most annoying voice ever. I cannot stand to hear him talk...and when he rants... Hence why I do not listen to the show and only hear clips when I am trying to get things to pick up while driving around in the mornings. And the other guy...he sounds like such a little bitch. And he's always agreeing with Bob, even when there's no way he can really agree with such an assanine opinion.

^ nah, he wasn't an intern. he was hired after they did that thing at the long branch where they had try-outs. it's kind of running together, but i think he was hired after ben (an intern) left. could be mistaken about that part.
somewhere i heard that what beans was making was about the equivalent to $16k-$18k a year. considering the stupid shit he had to do, and that he lives out in BFE - i'd say it wasn't worth his time.

Brody moved to 10a-3p permanently. Some dude named Gellar took over nights. (his last gig was in atlanta, where he was also a victim of "changes"). Randi was just on vacation, I assume she is back on monday.

Beans indeed DOES have a bob and the showgram tattoo. Not only is that stupid, but the tattoo itself looks shitty. Honestly, he got a totally raw deal. Without mentioning numbers, it is accurate to say he was making next to nothing. The kid asked for a very minor pay raise just to cover his gas (coming from Sanford daily) and was told no. This was AFTER they got rid of Amy's contract which was substantial. Point being that they had the money to give him a raise if they wanted to. Now whether or not Beans was good at his off-air job, I have no idea. On-air, however, he was gold for them. He did every stupid thing that bob came up with and more importantly, he NEVER complained about it. That is tough to find for what they pay for that position. The new chick they hired (who I have heard good things about but haven't heard on air) came in at a huge discount from what Amy was getting. Although Bob just got a new contract, so I am sure that he ate up any of those savings.

Madison was let go at Sunny 93.9. In fact, to add insult to injury, she was told that they would not be renewing her contract IN THE MIDDLE OF HER SHOW! And then asked her to finish out the show!? Dueling rumors as to what is going to happen there. One is that a super tame out of market morning show will take over or that the new Whoopi Goldberg show will be coming in. Whoopi's show is owned by Clear Channel, and they have a TON of money invested in it, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see that come in. Although, there have been lots of denials by those in charge that she is coming. (However, these are the same people that didn't know that Madison was getting the boot.)

The real tragedy of all the Clear Channel stations in Raleigh (G105, RDU 106.1, Sunny 93.9, and The River 100.7) is that out of those 4 stations, 3 of them are basically playing the same music. G105 is the only station that is different. Sunny, RDU and the River have so many crossover songs (late 70s, early 80s soft-ish rock) that they are starting to be indistinguishable. Kinda sad really, because I know for a fact that there are people at all 3 stations that could make them all stand out and be great stations were it not for local mgmt completely shutting them down. Oh well.

Also, this is a dumb question for some of you, but was it still "Bob & Madison" after this nationwide thing happened? If not, who were the morning crew? This shows how much I dislike the morning show, the afternoon/evening crew are much more tolerable.
