Yah, in episode one when Mr. Bennett (Claire's dad) was on his cell phone in Chandra Suresh's apartment in Madras he sounded like he was talking to a boss.

Not sure if he was talking to Sylar though, just someone who could have been his boss. Sets up a conflict of interest if they start hurting Claire potentially.

Mmmkay, so the S symbol is on the cover of Chandra Suresh's book.

Apparently the book lists him as a Genetics professor in India, and when Peter Petrelli calls to inquire about him, he'd quit six months before. This means that the symbol was around before Chandra Suresh made his way to New York. Not sure where the S symbol came from first, but if the first appearance of it is on Chandra Suresh's book, it kinda makes me wonder if he's really dead.

I'm not interested in finding them all, I'm more interested in where it came from and what it means.

There's no prize for finding them from what I can tell.

So maybe Sylar is DL. (Niki's husband, Micah's father) There is a scene when Niki and Micah arrive at DL's mother's house where it appears someone is hiding and watching them enter the house from upstairs. Also, apparently he killed his crew and made off to somewhere. His mom calls it an escape. Having some sort of nifty power would make that a lot easier.

It might be the mom's alter ego that's helping him out

I mean, if DL killed his crew and took off, and she somehow finds where his crew is buried because of a lapse, or whatever her power is, maybe she's involved.

Hell, she may have told the kid in her "other state" that she gets weird sometimes and not to listen when she's asking questions about the dad, kind of like a Fight Club type thing going on

who the hell knows, they've obviously created enough plot holes to keep us guessing for a long time

the S symbol is probably one helix of a DNA strand.

Oh and the mom's other personality is probably the one who stole the money and she framed the husband and killed all those people thats how she knew where they were buried.
