I liked Herb. Past tense. If you sort through posts from here in the old days, I backed him. I was pissed at our stupid redneck fans.

He is a grown man in a high profile job. So he gets booed by a bunch of mental midgets. Yeah, I was mad to be in a bar in Miami, listening to our team get booed on National TV. But Oh Well. Deal with it. Tubby got a lot of shit from Kentucky fans. Pitino caught a lot of heat these last two years. It comes with the territory of being a part of a team with history.

And I get annoyed at the attitude that NC State can't do better with someone else.

the football teams. it was something like 905 and 915 and both were below the cutoff by a few points...nothing major though.

We? As in NCSU? The cupcakes are there so I think we'll be around .500 (even some of the ooc games against power conference teams are gimmee's.. like WVU, since they will suck this year. I have us pinned at 5-11 ACC and 14-14 overall. Win one in the ACCT and we'll play postseason.

ASU? They have NOTHING in the cupboard from last year. NAU is a good, NCAA tourney caliber team but they will probably be around 3-4 games under .500 imo... There best players are freshman so it will be awhile before they compete. I'm 100% certain Herb will make them a respectable program. Not as sure he can bring it to the next level, just like at State though...

** Though I will root for ASU because I like Herb, you will NEVER hear me call them WE. I know someone is going to try and say that...
