Blah, I feel like I am missing so much in this game. Going to the sixth temple and I still have only 2 bomb bags and haven't found a repairable "cannon" or whatever it is. Only fished a little bit.

Not to mention the Sacred Grove sucks. No map, huge maze, and I found a Poe in there, which means there is probably more stuff around. Blah, I will never get 100% complete like I did in OoT (w/o the manual too).

i haven't found the third bomb bag either and I am on like the 8th or ninth temple....
don't worry about the cannon that will come all in due time

I haven't fished much at all, found about half the bugs, at around 25 or so poes maybe more

Anyone able to beat the game you use the claw shot to get all the glowing things in hyrule? find it close to impossible.

That is kinda correct, but not entirely. It will be in the general area, but not always the exact same loading screen (screw you ant).

Also, bous, I think there is probably an item that allows you to clawshot while you are still attached to the wall. If you look at the glowing items, they are in lines, and some of those lines start halfway up the wall. I am just waiting and hoping I am correct.

The game in Castle town to get the glowing things i found easy... Failed the first one the first time i did... Beat it easily the second time. The second level i beat with like 10-15 seconds still on the clock

Has anyone gotten the Goron to the south of Hyrule Castle to smash through the rocks blocking the path? He said he could do it if he had some Goron Hot Spring water. I got him some but whenever I try to give it to him, Link just dumps it out on his feet. I tried Z-Targeting him and using the item, alas no luck.

The Goron by the south Hyrule exit sells water . . . once you give the guy by the west wall some. That is slightly more tricky though.

oh yeah... for anyone that is interested... that fucking fairy challenge in the desert takes forever, is actually kinda hard and you should have a minimum of 2 fairies and a blue potion before you try to do the whole thing and it aint even a fucking heart piece just got damn fairy tears. to do the whole challenge you need the double clawshot, spinner, ball and chain, and dominion rod. just took me like 40 minutes and man was i fucking pissed. plus i used up all my rupees sporting magical armor for 2 of the fights (helped a hell of a lot) and left with 0 arrows, 0 bombs and 0 rupees.

This zelda is kind of easy. I'm also a little dissapointed in the music. After this, I'm gonna do a 3 heart challenge with this, oot, ww, and mm and see which one gives me the biggest pain in the ass.

^ some of the later dungeons are more challenging, particularly some of the puzzles get harder once you hit the snowpeak and the sacred grove v2.0. the game is also pretty long. all in all i've really enjoyed it, put in about 44 hours so far, doing lots of sidequest etc.

So I'm in the temple of time and completely stumped for the first time. I'm at the part where you shoot all the little mechanical bugs with arrows to gain access to the arena, but then I have no idea what else to do with the little statue besides toss it on the switch to open the gate to kill the poe. Or if the statue has nothing to do with what I need to do next. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious. Any help would be appriciated.

if you are in the middle of the room like i think then try turning the dial, the platform should raise or lower depending on which way you turn it. and you'll need the statue for some of the higher level, you also can't get the poe (if its the one i'm thinking of) until you get the dominion rod later in the dungeon

i don't see a dial. there's just a giant pillar in the middle that doesn't give me any option of action when i'm by it, but i tried using every item including the spinner to get it to do something to no avail. ARGH.

and i just talked to someone else who says i need to climb the stairs to do these things. but the stairs are broken! there's a big gap missing right above the spinning eye laser statue.
