well florida has certainly shown their vulnerability again today, but that being said I don't see them dropping another one in regular season. I could see them losing in the SEC tournament, but who knows...

well I said I didn't think florida would lose again, obviously I was wrong...I do think the SEC tournament is pretty much wide open at this point so it should be fun to watch.

I don't think at this point that the SEC tourney will really boost any seeding for the NCAA, it just has the potential to set some teams back a little bit...UT, Vandy, Kentucky are all locks for the tourney IMO, but the seeding is going to be tough to predict

Dont like that first round draw, LSU has a lot of talent, lot of potential but played like shit most of the year but could definitely put it together... if they win that then its Ole Miss in Round 2, like that matchup a lot better

Thursday is going to be a long night... with the State game at 7, then this afterwards... I will probably end up spending 5-6 hours at Playmakers

jaybee I have a question for you...try to take an unbiased look at it and tell me if you think lofton should be sec player of the year...I think the injury might hurt him when it comes down to it because it's POY award not MVP...I think it's easier to say he could be considered mvp because UT is not nearly as good without him, but I just don't see him as POY....

but I thought that might be because I just don't want to see a UT player win it haha so I wanted another opinion...and if you don't think he should get it, who should?

of course anyone can reply, I just know jaybee is one of the few who cares to read/post in this thread

I think it will be either Lofton or Davis and the injury definitely hurt Lofton... not sure who will get it. I know Lofton is leading in PPG and is probably top 10 in steals, but Davis is only around 3 PPG back and is also leading in rebounding. Not sure when they vote but if its after the tournament it might be which team gets further (and they play each other the first game so it wont take long to figure out)

As far as the rest of the SEC honors, I think it's a good first team and Kennedy won Coach of the year beating out vandy's Stallings by 1 vote as well.
