just fuckin jokin, i was in 102 and there wasnt much reason to yell most of the game. D played weak as shit in the 1st half (50+ pts to goddamn WOFFORD!?) then seemed to lock a little more in the 2nd half (only like 35 pts or so). need to keep the D intensity up to blow teams out, obviously we can score this season EVEN WHEN THE 3'S ARENT FALLING (omf!).

all in all there was some good and some bad, it was the first game so i'm sure they blew their load a little in the beginning. hopefully we'll keep improving each week.

i was there, fells looked good at both ends, gavin grant reminds me of julius with his possible explosiveness but scary decisions, atsur looked solid and made a huge play late, costner is not nearly as bad as you kids make him out to be, mccauley is pretty good, but as everyone else has said, we're shallow as shit, horner/lewandowski are just not there yet

honestly to me it felt like the crowd finished that game, i don't think wofford was used to that kind of crowd and it got them confused

they just seemed out of place once it got loud


by the way after the game i think it was fells on the radio who said they weren't following lowe's instructions in the first half but during halftime he talked to them and 'tried it his way' and it worked

Agreed, when we started to swing the momentum back toward the end that place absolutely exploded. Never thought I'd see the entire student section and the band jumping and yelling their lungs out this early in the season.......props to everybody that showed up last night

seriously though.... the offense we had in that game beat out every game in herb sendeks history. once we step the defense and have a couple years where we aren't 'rebuilding' I can see the magic.

Fantastic highlight video ncsuftw1!! Man I loved those jams by Fells, he's the only one that's allowed to do one handed dunks, at least for now. Maybe now people can see some of the intensity and excitement that is already evident in these early games.....these guys can only get better with time, unlike our football team. And as for

It got the crowd very much alive then, especially in the second half, I felt like I was cheering on a game in March, we (the crowd) definitely helped shake Wofford at the end, and some of the players acknowledged this in the post-game interviews.

Good job on making the quick video man, and the quality is excellent!

Nah....the view from under the basket it looks pretty clean. He takes 3 steps once the ball is in his left hand, but only two when he has both hands on the ball. It happened so fast though that they cant call traveling


Plus, I have the clemson highlights from the overtime game last year on my computer....There was a dunk that Bennerman had where he took at least 4 steps and they didnt call it. Whenever I need a good laugh I go watch that play b/c its hillarious that it didnt get called for a travel. (ok not really)...but he makes it from the just inside the 3 point line to the basket w/out a dribble.

well we were terrible the first 30 minutes. we need to play the entire 40 minutes like they do down in durham. the place was DEAD right after tipoff.


and the courtside student sections are always half full. the people that are there jump up and down for the first 5 minutes of the unc game and thats it.
