Towards the end of the summer, as I started riding harder, my CBR started popping the front up as I shifted into second. Pretty weird feeling if you're not used to it. My roommate's R6 is geared down a bit, and it was one thing that convinced him to get a steering damper. He had one too many tank-slappers as he came down from wheelies at high speeds

The first wheelie I ever did was accidental while trying to launch at the Drag strip, lol...scared the shit out of me. I rode it out without problems though, unlike one noob that lost control and slammed into the concrete barrier at the edge of the track

ladies and gentlemen, i might just have to retire the gixxer. found a big crack in the frame by the steering stem, from coming down hard off the wheelies (igor). there is a dude selling a frame for 300 bucks, with a bill of sale from a dealership but no title. cheap but sketchy. i guess i could also get it welded all to shit, see how that works....

You'd most likely blow the seals 1st front hard wheelie landings, but then again, his bike has been through a lot of wrecks that could have compromised the frame before hand... Specially that little 100+mph dip out in the country earlier in the year...
