yes, if we learn to shoot the 3 better. Fells, atsur, horner are hurting us by not spreading the defense. BC camped out in the middle all day. Thats also why they were able to get rebounds.

BC is a good team and should be one of the best in the ACC.

That said, we're gonna get shellacked this year, as expected.

We just need some size and athleticism inside (rebounding and scoring) and a point guard that can create.

We are a step slow on defense this year, so getting next years recruiting class in here to provide depth and athleticism should help that

In related news, Fells is absolutely horrible on defense... and it's becoming more and more evident why Herb didn't play him. Sadly, Lowe doesn't have a choice

lots of hustle, some great passes (assisted on 2 of the goaltended shots and would have had an assist if GG could hit uncontested layups)

obvious to say it, but I think getting him back will help State out a whole lot

Atsur was very good at hustling in the 2nd half, as he usually is.

yeah i think if he can get up to his average scoring or better and somebody (like him) becomes a serious 3 point threat it would open up the middle a lot more and we should win our share of acc games.

good mid 2nd half effort, but that charge on horner threw all the momentum.. it was tough

had the chance to see the acc tourney last year - one thing i noticed was that BC was impressive. we beat them in both the regular season matchups last year due to shooting well behind the arc, but they could really compete with anyone in the tourney.

they were the largest team in the ACC by far. i'm not sure how many peeps they lost this season but i was impressed last year, i think they beat unc but lost to duke in the acc title game.

To be as athletic as fells and grant are, we shouldn't be getting destroyed on the boards by opposing guards. Sean Marshall had 5 offensive boards and 14 total. Fells and Grant together had 9 total. Horner had 0 boards.

Yeah total momentum kill with that Horner charge, that pretty much killed the comeback and everybody just got tired, especially big lazy. If we had gotten that with an and 1 in terms of momentum I think we could have come back to tie or win. But whatever, it was pretty much as expected.

We did get a few pretty good "Dudley's Ugly" chants going from time to time. He's such a big faggot for acting like he just made the game winning shot at the buzzer for every single shot that he makes...I'm not sure the RBC was big enough for his ego.

I mean, we could sit here and say it was a good game but that would be a complete lie.

you know whats funny?? NC State wouldn't suck so bad if they played zone the whole game cuz theres no way anybody can see Boston College strait up mano y mano. thats why some teams in preseason and ncstate part of that second half resorted to zone cuz all other players are helpless against ours.
