don't forget the next FOUR races are on FOX, not Speed. The British and French GP will be on tape delay so no need to wake up early on a sunday to watch.

Fuji for the first time, could equalize the field somewhat, with nobody being there before unless they tested

I don't think I can stay up till the race..
It's 11:50PM Sunday here in Japan... I need to go to bed soon....

I can always stay up when the race is in Europe, Asia etc.., but I can't for Canada, US, and Brazil GPs...

In the 6 years I've been watching F1 Kubica's crash was the worst I have seen. It is absolutely amazing that he survived it, but even more amazing is that he only suffered a sprained ankle and a light concussion. Simply unreal. If you didn't see the race you can watch the crash here.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nKDtWVHOic

As for the race... I was glad to see Hamilton get his first win but I was very disappointed with Ferrari. They're slipping.

Isn't Raikkonen like the highest paid driver in F1 these days? He needs to do better! Can't believe Massa is ahead of him.

OK I am back now. I have tons of pics and video have to sort through them all.

During the race I had general admission, so we sat where we could see a video board. So I was where the infield and oval meet.

I just watched the recording on the cable box and to my surprise it was in digital widescreen, not HD video but pretty close. Good job FOX and F1

We sat in a bunch of different places for all the practices and qualifying.

I was there on Thursday for the pit lane walk and for the SpeedTV driver interview thing they did as well.

They sold out of Mclaren shirts right after the race, I got one on Friday anyway.

It was hot as hell though, even with sunscreen I still got burned on my nose on Thursday I look like a mutant right now.

I was sure I read somewhere that Kimi gets like $51 Million annually.

Dang Michael Schumacher still gets $6 Million just to be an advisor.

Lol Hamilton is being ripped off for all he's doing.

You know F1 is very secretive group/organization, so this is just an estimate released at the end of last year, I think. I am sure top 4 (Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, and Raikkonen) get decent bonus at every race besides the salary.

watched the race on TVU, I think it was the ITV broadcast (which sucked). Awesome pass by alonso on quick nick. I love that track, would have been nice if it had rained, and too bad Red Bull can't make a transmission last a whole race.
