I look forward to hearing some peoples' "explanations" for global warming on Pluto, Mars and Triton

Especially when one of the articles is titled "Global Warming on Pluto Puzzles Scientists"

How can scientists be puzzled if they understand SO MUCH about global warming?

- there arent humans there to cause it to get hotter

maybe al gore could explain it..im sure our exhaust from our cars is going up to outer space and ending up on pluto perhaps? yeah people will believe it!

I don't believe that he believes it's a priority, but I also believe that you have not studied positive reinforcement feedback loops, creeping normalcy or linear regression models on temperature variations. Fact is, you can't justify your position without statistics, which means most of your posts are opinion based and erroneous. Produce some facts, or shut up.

Maybe if I oversimplify it you might begin to understand what I'm getting at:

- The Earth is getting hotter
- Pluto is getting hotter
- The Earth has people on it emitting CO2
- Pluto has no people on it

If Pluto is getting hotter and there are no people on Pluto, that means something other than humans are causing global warming on Pluto. Why are you so certain that people are causing global warming on Earth?

Pluto is 6 billion KM from sun, compared to the earth's 150 million KM

Pluto's mass is about 1/500ths that of earth.

For you to go about and dismiss hundreds of thousands of years of antarctic data, and DIRECT *real-time* observational data correlating global tempeature with atmospheric carbon -- just because a frozen little speck of a non-planet is fluctuating a couple degrees 40-times farther away from the sun than we are...

well then you're a goddamned fool, and you should have your BS degree revoked because you obviously didnt learn a fucking thing about science.

Just put it this way, I've been around since before he came here. For years, virtually 100% of his post content was about the NBA, weed, and hip hop music, with random smatterings about other sports, entertainment, and chit chat topics.

you fucking retard, if you would read the article, rather than just the headline, you would see that the scientists are not "puzzled". they have a number of theories, most of which involve classic thermodynamics and volcanic activity.

if your little drug-addled brain cant wrap around the concept that Pluto is a completely different dynamic than earth, then I don't know what else to tell you.

and i for one, dont think you ever graduated from state with an MEA. i'm betting you flunked out shortly after matriculation. or maybe you just took a couple classes at Wake Tech.

Heres why the Pluto argument is total bs.

-incoming solar radiation to the earth has never changed (earth and pluto share no other traits that would cause both of them to warm)
-no mass enters or exits the earth (with the exception of shuttles, asteroids etc)
-every planet undergoes cyclic warming and cooling (its 99% likely that earth's is not cyclic because this is different and more profound than any peak ever)
