I've talked to some associated with the baseball team who say Gilheeney is the team's best pitcher. Period.

He's a freshman who doesn't act, sound or play like one.

alright, apparently my facts on the reason why the webstream of games was done were slightly incorrect (as to who the parties involved with this are), so here is the whole deal, straight from the horses mouth, because apparently they don't like being involved in confusion and namecalling:

However, gopack.com (a division of Wolfpack Sports Marketing) holds a contract with XOS Technologies who is the provider of all servers and space for gopack.com's network. XOS Technologies holds the exclusive rights for all webstreaming which includes wolfpack sports as well as sports from several other universities within the state. As per contractual obligations, WKNC does not stream the NC State Men's Baseball games for this reason. WKNC is not the only radio affilate affected by this. Every single radio affiliate of Capital Broadcasting that has their sports played through them is required to take their webstreams down. This is not some trick to stick to WKNC, everyone is affected by it. I hope that clears up the confusion."

so theres the deal, its not technically packpass that is preventing the webstream, but that is what you would have to purchase to listen to the games over the internet now.

Good game!! i attended and let me tell you the atmosphere was amazing..


I yelled RED during the nation anthem (I was the only one in the whole stadium) and afterwards i got 3 guys trying to fight me... 2 of them over 30 yrs. old... after some intense verbal exchange i finally told one to hit me and they walked away... bitches...

It was a great atmosphere, easy to walk into the lot get a beer and come back into the game...

Their baseball atmosphere is a lot like our fball atmosphere

Their fans talked shit but STFU after they lost.

I was at the ECU game and have to say that NCSU was lucky to win because ECU gave us too many chances to stay in the game and did not close the door. 2 times we loaded the bases with none or 1 out and only managed to manufacture one run...I believe the ECU played harder in the beginning and deserved to win but as it goes its only the final score that matters!!

We looked pretty bad today against Pepperdine, actually we didn't look very good at all this weekend. We made at least 3 errors this afternoon which cost us big. The bats still haven't come around, we are watching way too many strike 3s and not hitting with men in scoring position. All in all the loss to Peperdine isn't a big one, they are ranked in the top 15...

Don't tell me we're turning into UNC fans, "NUH UH, WE'RE NOT RIVALS WITH YOU"

On the contrary, the word rival is given far to much weight. It's not like you can have just one rivalry. Any team that you have a tradtion with can be considered a rival, ESPECIALLY if they are in-state. UNC, Wake, Duke, and ECU are all our rivals in various sports.

Granted, some rivalries are bigger than others.
