^^^^^^It's the "Game after beating UNC" effect. The first time VT beat UNC, they followed that up with a loss at FSU. After we beat UNC, we lost at GT. And now, after VT just beat UNC again, they're about to lose to us.

My Detroit Red Wings jersey is 3-0 (@VT, UNC, VT) when I wear it on gameday. I guess I can be blamed for the 3 game losing skid we had. I didn't wear it on those days. The winning spirit of the Red Wings transcends from my jersey over to my beloved Wolfpack on gamedays when I wear it.

The sad thing is that VT didn't play all that bad. With over half of the second half over they only had 8 turnovers. They shot 48% on the game, but were shooting somewhere in the range of 55% at the half.

haha WHAT?!?! you didnt watch did you... Nieman threw it away once. why he was on the court I don't know, but we broke the press with ease the whole game

And Ferguson, not Nieman, should have been in to close out the game cause he at least dribbles... Nieman, you just know he's gonna catch a pass, then look to pass back... I'm not being negative but rather commenting on the fact that I like how Ferguson isn't hesitant to dribble the ball. Nieman just gets the fuck trapped outta him.

We're only 3-4 since he came back. We've had some amazing performances (UNC, VTx2, first half of GT) and some horrible ones.

I doubt our record would be all that much better, although we probably would've won a couple more games (Cincinnatti, the first UVA game) where we desperately needed another player.

yeah, i like to think we would've taken one of the UVa games...and then with him playing all season, you've got to think they'd be consistent enough to take one or two of these latest losses (GT, Miami, UMd)...we'd be 5-7 or 6-6 and right in the mix.
