I had avoided this thread until I finally had enough of a break to catch up online. I haven’t been able to watch anything but the pilot on tv. I liked the show. I hope it the show is saved somehow. I'd prob collect this series on dvd if it doesn't get canned.

donnelly's take out dokey, fued with the italians, run protection rings, etc etc..

it just needs a better home. HBO, Showtime, FX even. because their audience has proven to enjoy deep plotted dramas.

^^ definitely not HBO quality but it was as close as NBC can possibly get. HBO raised the bar on 1hr dramas so high that you can't really compare anything else to any of their series.

Alright, just got done watching it...

Tonight's was far and away the best episode I've seen so far...

Jimmy's humanity was displayed. Tommy's ineptness was highlighted. Kevin's stupidity/addiction was expanded on. I mean, ultimately, Kevin's gambling addiction is far and away (same phrase) more costly than Jimmy's drug problem.

This particular episode was the best to me, and I'm stoked to see what comes next. It's too bad it's getting cut.

they still show new episodes on their website. there's two on there now that haven't been aired on tv.

i don't think it's the best show out there by any means, or even close. but it is definitely more entertaining than most of the other shit that's airing right now so the alternatives are limited.

and it is most definitely better than any reality show imaginable.
