i have NEVER heard anyone speak highly of the man over the years, just reading random excerpts from stuff...........they always say that he is a dick. Poor democrats love him, just like they love all rich democrats, because he says he wants to give them all free money........simply put.

If you actually watch the video, you will see that Byrd appeared to be quite lucid at the time the remarks in question were taped.
