You'll need this vocabulary list to understand what Tom Cruise is talking about. That's another thing about the cult, they get you to begin using a new vocabulary so that outsiders don't understand you anymore. It further distances you from outsiders.
*KSW: Keeping Scientology Working, a policy written by Hubbard in the 1960's that requires all scientologists to follow his words and his rules exactly. It also means you need to invest all of your time and money into the org.
*Org: Organization, ie - scientology and its "churches."
*David Miscavige: Current head of scientology, he dresses in a naval uniform because Hubbard was in the Navy and they buy into the lies about what happened while he was in the service.
*Out-ethics: Any behavior that goes against Hubbard's rules of conduct. There are a LOT of things that are considered out-ethics.
*Put ethics in on someone else: Make others conform to Hubbard's rules. He's really talking about making people put more time and money into the org. "You're either on board or you're not." This is his way of saying "it's all or nothing, either put all of your time and money into it or leave." The funny thing is, leaving isn't really an option because they take all of your money and then when you leave they slap more legal suits on you than you can deal with. Even if they get thrown out, you spend day after day at the court house dealing with them and there's nothing you can do about it.
*Criminon: Scientology front group that tries to recruit through the prisons.
*Narconon: Another front group, this one is scientology's drug abuse program. It's funny because "Alanon" and NA are legitimate organizations. They named it that so that people get confused and think Narconon is associated with those. If you go into a Narconon place, they will not mention their affiliation with scientology. In fact, they tend to deny it outright, but in reality they are one in the same. They use all of the same terms and use L Ron Hubbard's teachings to "fix" you. They give you vitamin bombs and put you in the sauna for 5+ hours at a time.
*SP: Suppressive Person. Anyone that doesn't like scientology and/or criticizes scientology. This is what he's talking about when he says that people ask him "have you ever met an sp?!" That should give you an indication of just how locked down the victims of this cult are. People who ask that question have never met someone who is against scientology.
*PTS: Potential Trouble Source, someone who may be an SP but has not yet been designated an SP.
*LRH Tech: L Ron Hubbard Technology, all scientology "Teachings" (ie - policies, rules, mandates, procedures).
*OT: Operating Thetan. These are the higher levels of scientology, where you really become nuts. OTIII is where you first learn about Xenu and the atomic bombs 75 million years ago. You find out that you have BT's attached to you and you must shed them. The only way to do this of course is to keep paying money to take more courses. To get to this level, most people have spent well over $100,000 if they aren't working for the org. If they do work for the org, it takes them forever to get to this level.
*BT: Body Thetan. The things that live in you. Your Thetan is a "soul," so a body thetan is another thetan that has to use your body because it can't find it's own. It's a result of what Xenu did 75 million years ago when he put everyone in the volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs. If you look back, hydrogen bombs had just been invented when Hubbard came out with this bullshit story. So of course L. Ron Hubbard, being a science fiction writer, had to include them in his crazy story." |

Rendered Speculation: Ferrari Four-Door Coupe
Quote : | "The designers on http://www.cardesign.ru have presented a series of renderings in the past. They have included the next generation Mazda3 and a rendition of the potential Renault Alpine. Now a designer on the Russian site has taken the bold step in creating a bunch of illustrations depicting what a Ferrari four-door supercar may look like. " |
I think Ferrari should make... it looks hot! And it will be cheaper than Lambo's 4-door coupe, so it should sell well.

^^ random russian fuck? pirated? too much time on his hands? i am sure he doesn't have 26,000 posts on some board. you like to insult random people you don't even know and have done nothing to harm anyone? if that is so easy to do, why haven't you done it, i mean, a better one, since you think that one is terrible? i like it, and that's why i posted it. i am going to post cars here that i like, not necessarily you. if you find something you like, post it. if you don't like something i post, don't tell me to stop posting. cars are not equations, they are works of art, good or bad. terrible and awful to you, but very good to me. please make a good render of a 4-door ferrari. let's see.
and i don't understand that too much time on his hands comment. even if everybody in the world voted that his rendering was terrible, still, so fucking what? everybody starts somewhere. not everybody can be as good at design as you are. but are you the best? i am sure there is at least one pro designer out there who would call your work terrible and awful. what you gonna say to him? actually, we should all be living in caves and hunting and digging for roots. don't you have too much time on your hands for going to school, to university, getting a job, all that bullshit? see how much that doesn't make sense? yeah, your comment made as much sense. 9/30/2008 1:38:58 AM |

The problem is, it was posted under the guise of being a legitimate Ferrari design.
What does posting on a message board have to do with shitty computer renders?
I get PAID to do my design work, thanks. And you'll be able to see it on hundreds of thousands of computers soon.
And in school I saw better design than this DAILY on cars. It's an awful attempt on so many levels, and its ashame that garbage like that gets blog/news/media attention. Nothing on the car looks Ferrari, other than the badge. The proportions are WAY off, it looks like a giant red penis rocket. The body lines are TERRIBLY modeled (look at the reflections in the last picture), none of the splines line up, none of the surfaces are normalized, The wheels aren't even possible, not to mention rough as hell looking, the tires are awfully rendered, the seating position is ridiculous, the front windshield is both enormous and unsafe, the a-pollars are garbage and impossible, the hood looks like someone beat on it with a hammer, the front grill is trying to give it the "ferrari look" as a blatant slap-on detail, The roof line looks terrible, the rear windows are both impossible and unsafe, the rear window is unusable, and thankfully you didn't post a shot of the read end. Oh and the scene it's set in is even more amateur, the textures dont line up, or are missing completely, the lighting doesn't look natural at all, and the materials don't make any sense.
There's a critique for you, since you want to throw shit.9/30/2008 5:01:51 PM |

huh. there have been a bunch of examples in recent years of chromed out (MirraChrome paint or just insanely well bare-metal mirror-polished) cars that have been all over the various media: Kirkham cobra replica, jaguar xjr, ford gr-1, 50cent's murcielago, that widebody m3 that was in almost every tuning-car mag and I think even got a mention in Motor Trend, the ford airstream concept.... then there was the Aston Martin Lagonda Concept from like '94 or whatever year the Mustang Mach III concept came out, and the Audi Avus way before that.... I think there was a super-polished gold-plated delorean...
But this is the very first "mirrorcar" I've ever seen that also has a mirror tint on all the glass. regardless of the tackiness of the polished finish, I gotta say... If I was as batshit crazy to do this to a priceless car, I think this is the first application I've ever seen where a mirror tint is a good look. It's like the terminator from T2 or Rise of the Machines morphed into an SLR. Very bitchin. did I just say that? I'm sure I'd change my mind if I had to see it in the daytime, right in front of me in traffic on a bright day. wow, that would really really suck. it kinda reminds me of the spaceship from flight of the navigator.
