I just feel that if the ACC was the strongest conference its members shouldn't be punished for beating each other. That's why I've lost all hope in the rankings system. If a 4 beats a 5, then they should both stay where they are. A 4 is supposed to beat a 5 in a close matchup.

I can promise you Ohio State would rather play any other #16 seed than us, for example.

how is UVA a #4 seed? they lost to us in their first game of the ACC tourney. would they have been a #3 seed if they had beaten us? Texas meanwhile came close to beating Kansas for the Big 12 Championship and they're a #4 too? Seems kind of odd.

Arkansas better have damn well been the last team in, because they are certainly the least deserving. I don't know how you can have a team that finishes 7-9 in the very average SEC West get in over Syracuse which is 10-6 in the Big East which MUCH bigger wins.

I think this shows they placed a LOT of stock in the conference tournament, too much so IMO.

That's the only team i have REAL beef with tho...I would probably have Drexel in over Illinois.

im really suprised virginia got such a high seed with the terrible play during the tournament. At least it means we have a really good chance to win the first game.

this is where I'm confused

the SEC championship game was over with 10 minutes to go in the game, whereas ours wasn't over till less than a minute left and Arkansas still gets a the last spot

at the same time, all the ACC teams that got in got ridiculously higher seeds than it normally gets even though the teams that got in stunk it up in the tourney

i'm not really complaining about us not getting it over arkansas--the spot shoulda gone to syracuse or Kansas state
