^-$5.00 + $2.00 membership fee (required by law to charge at least $1.00 after opening)... sorry I hate it too.
-We ran a whole week+ of $2 ML's so we can't cut the price again for a while.
-Sorry you ran into people you don't like... not much we could do about that
-Adding more people to staff who are capable of adjusting tabs... it just takes a while though

Otherwise, glad you enjoyed the band! Hope you'll consider coming back since a lot of the cons we have no control over (except for the added shot to tab, which I sincerely apologize for... I didn't do it... I just apologize in general for it)

The secret password for this weekend for no cover before midnight is:

"M19"

Because the Buckhead Band we have tonight is Mission 19... http://www.mission19.com

...and as always, free cover before 9pm anyways

We aren't really doing drinks specials on Friday or Saturday nights unless we have a special event or promotion going on. Chances are though, between the band ordering shots for the crowds up front and the Miller Lite folks doing on-site promo, you should be able to catch a free drink here or there

I will try my hardest to post any special events or promotions on here when they come up!

^^ no, but i'm working on it it will eventually happen... someday soon i hope

^ sorry, $5 cover + $2 membership fee (required to be at least $1 by law, you'll only have to pay it once). If you had let me know, it would have only been $2

I keep telling you guys to let me know when you're coming... I'll put you on the guest list and you won't have to pay cover ... you can also go to http://buckheadraleigh.com/guestlist.php any Thursday/Friday/Saturday before 6pm and fill in the info to get in w/o cover

Just an FYI, this is illegal. While I don't know any dude cheap enough to call you out on it, if you let women in free, you have to let in everyone free.

Same goes for drink specials too.

u can let ladies in for free you just can't provide a drink special to them that is not open to everyone. It is a private club...they can not let you in b/c they don't like your hair, shoes, you have a penis etc As long as they don't have an alcohol special that is not entitled to everyone they are not breaking the law

so this is my new favorite place to go on wednesdays

but goddamn, the dj plays the absolute worst music in the world. i feel like i'm at a middle school dance sometimes. i'm guessing they probably (definitely) encourage him not to play rap to keep the black crowd away (avoiding what happened to pi bar), but seriously - i heard shania twain's "that don't impress me much." they could leave on KISS FM 93.9 the whole time and it would be a 100% improvement.

convince them to hire me and that will change

seriously they wont let you play freelance, they have a set of CDs that you have to stick to as far as your selection goes, no mixing or anything like that.

its a buckhead CD collection

personally I could and would spice it up...but Chuck wont return my calls for some reason and I've had countless people ask why they wont have me and let them make more $$ and memories.

ask Chuck why his Dj's suck

i'm not the only one either, everyone i know looks at each other like WTF everytime a new song comes on

no one wants to hear that awful shit.

also, it sucks when i show up on saturday night at 1130, wait in line, get to the door at 1205 and they won't let me use the password. fuck that, what is the point of my membership

went there on a Wednesday for the first time this past week. I was impressed that they also had non miller-lite beers for the $2 pint special. Ratio was probably 70% dudes. Thursdays are I guess ladies night so it tends to be better. Either way though, you don't even want to bother with these kinds of places unless you bring some ladies with you

I believe that because they don't serve food, according to a new law, they have to require a membership.

Ok, going to answer all of this together... hopefully

Cover:
Wednesday - none... it's college night... i just graduated... I get it
Thursday - no cover for girls, $5 for guys
Friday - no cover before 9, free cover password always goes up on our facebook and myspace... and if there is enough interest... I'll post it here, too... gets you in free before midnight, $5 after that
Saturday - same as Friday

There is also a guest list online at
http://www.buckheadraleigh.com/guestlist.php that you can put yourself on... might only be good until midnight I think... might last all night, I'll have to double check. Either way, just put yourself on there before 6pm.

For any of you TWW'ers... just email me at LJeffries@buckheadraleigh.com... I'll be glad to add you to the guest list as well.

Pricing
Nothing we can do about it... just check us out online and stalk our specials. Like it was mentioned on here, Wednesday is $2 all pints, $1.50 wells... best damn night to drink... for cheap. Tonight we did $3 Coronas, $3 Coors, $4 Sex on the Beach for our end of summer beach bash.

Membership
You should never pay the $2 membership fee more than once (where some people are getting $7 total from: $5 cover + $2 membership fee). Give us your info legibly at the info table and you can pick your membership card up next time you are in (3-day waiting period, it's the law). I know... it blows... we hate it too, we just don't serve food so we have to be a membership club and the ALE loves to visit us so we have to make sure we do this right... thus why it's like Fort Knox to get in some times... If you all have any problem with this, just email me your info at LJeffries@BuckheadRaleigh.com and I'll be glad to personally put your info in our database to make sure it's in there so you can pick up your card. Heck, I'll even put it in the mail if you send me your addy.

DJ
Sorry, this isn't my department. Feel free to send any complaints through our website and I'll gladly pass it along. I hate hearing "Umbrella" 49023 times in one night too... I'm a big fan of the no rap, no crap policy... and we do try and keep it to a minimum.

Girls
I gotta be honest, I really hear two completely different stories. I'm either always being told the girls are top notch, or that there are not enough. I guess it just depends. Either way, I can tell you that based on the history of our company (nation-wide), our bars usually as a whole end up being 55/45 (f/m). Your odds should still be good.

tschudi, they usually let you use the password if you've been in line for quite a bit... that's strange they didn't. Send me your address and I'll send you some free cover passes to make up for it. Let me know next time that happens please.

yea, i've been around the Raleigh scene for some time now and Buckhead is by far the best place to go. It can be loud sometimes with the live bands, but a sacrifice I am willing to make. I do work there, so I am biased a little... but when I drink there I always have a good time.
There are usually quite a few hot ladies in there, and most of the time they are flying solo, or in a group of girls. I really do recommend that everyone try it at least once. Stop by and say what up.

i agree threads like ?topic=486388 should be locked and told to buy an ad

this is more of a discussion thread so far - if it turns into just some sort of shameless promotion thread then it'll probably go the way of the lock/buy an ad
