I'm looking foward to the Campus Legend this year. The camera angles are much better and you get to start by playing the high school playoffs of your senior year to determine the initial ratings for your player instead of just doing drills.

plus if you were a receiver and they ran a running play for a loss, YOU would get penalized..hopefully they fix that shit

Yeah, it's pretty sweet what little I've played of it. I got some choppiness when it was transitioning from one scene to another or from play to the replay while you select your play. Also things seem a little bit slowed down in terms of player speed, turbo boosting, etc.

Animations are definitely improved, and so is the in-game framerate. Camera angles are nice and tight and the AI and defense seems improved.

One thing that seemed to be the same or worse was the reaction time for bats or picks, etc. on defense and possibly on offense. Course, that could be the same as '07.

where do you guys get your rosters from? Can you download them directly to your ps3 from the internet function, or do you still need a sharkport/maxdrive thing?

For any NCAA roster, you'll definitely need a Sharkport or a Maxdrive unless you have a friend with a memory card with a file of the rosters. For Madden and all the pro games, you can simply download the rosters from their online menu on the game.
