I thought Setanta had exclusive rights to Barca games? I don't know though, don't watch La Liga

damn, that puerta guy for sevilla ended up dying in the hospital. had a heart attack on the field during the game, he eventually got up and walked off the field to the locker room where he had another heart attack, ended up having too much brain damage when he was revived in the hospital i think

You know how this has happened and is not an idle rumor? British bookies have stopped taking bets on him leaving.

I say 6 months til he takes over Real Madrid.

I went to my first EPL game this weekend. We caught a train to Birmingham to go to Villa Park to see them take on Manchester United. The football was incredible, except towards the end Villa had to play 2 men down due to cards. Either way, I am very excited, looking forward to going to more games in the near future.

Chelsea almost blew it against a League One side at Stamford Bridge, but Shevchenko saved their asses in the last 5 minutes.

I've got a decent one. Channel 1004 on Sopcast. Gallas just had a fantastic chance that van der Sar just robbed

Somebody also says 51733 on TVU works well, but I think it might be non-English commentary

fuck Rooney

Fuck that shit... horrible performance from Arsenal today. I guess Fabregas is the new Henry: when he's out the rest of the team looks lost. Then again, Van Persie and Hleb were out as well. It's amazing that they have been winning as much as they have with Emmanuel Adebayor as their biggest threat.

Maybe you should scroll back up and read my post again where I criticize Arsenal for relying too much on one player (Fabregas) as they did before with Henry.

Injuries are not an "excuse" for losing, but they are definitely one of the main reasons. Van Persie, Fabregas, Hleb, and Rosicky are probably Arsenal's biggest threats. Three of them are out.

rosicky hasnt done anything any other winger at arsenal has done. ill give you van persie and cesc as being bad injuries to the team. not sure about hleb, whenever i watch arsenal he fizzles in and out of games. seems more of a utility man with that team.

[Edited on December 9, 2007 at 1:58 PM. Reason : hleb, i like the way his name is pronounced from announcers]

You're right about Hleb in the past, but for some reason he has been playing insanely well for them this year. Rosicky seems to be breaking out as well, but he's so fragile that he can't stay in the lineup for more than a couple games. Wenger probably needs to at least look for keepers in January, because I don't think Almunia is the answer (although he has been solid). He also needs to stop being so damn conservative in his lineups. Instead of going out and grabbing teams like Newcastle and Middlesbrough by the balls, he plays 1 forward and then 2 defenders in the midfield and nothing gets going offensively until he makes changes in the second half. I don't think Arsenal will be on top of the table for much longer, but it's still been an awesome start. Spurs were supposed to take their place in the top 4, right?
