You'd be surprised at how many schools internally review things and we never hear about it. The big name schools it gets reported at least (Duke, UNC, etc) but usually nothing comes of it. It's not like this minor of an infraction would have brought anything but a "don't do it again" from the NCAA anyway. They have bigger fish to ignore and do nothing about...

I wanted to post this under the Kenan renovations thread but its dormant. I'm sure many of you have heard on the games lately and in the paper and on the news that UNC is actually gonna go through with this. I'd like some more people to weigh in on what they think about it. I really can't believe they are going to go through with it and that the project got the green light. To me it seems pretty basic. An introductory economics course with a study in supply and demand. They don't exactly have people beating down the doors to get North Carolina football tickets. They can't fill that stadium now and its hardly been 10 yrs. since they renovated it. Latest ballpark numbers I've heard when they have mentioned it on TV have put the capacity at as much as 80,000!!! 80,000 for football at UNC????!!! UNC isn't FSU, Clemson, or an SEC school. Plus factor in their shitty parking situation, no good tailgate spots, and the fact that the hospital is in the way and you have an even bigger mess. I never will understand how their brains work over there with all of those "nice pine trees"
