You clearly haven't watched him closely since he started the BC game last year. Especially after that concussion last year, he would just cower down like a scared dog at the slightest sense of pressure. At least he does make an attempt to get out of the pocket and not force it as much. He's getting the job done, but I don't think he's the answer though. His receivers are having to bail him out way too much and luckily Eugene had a big game yesterday. And bible needs to use a little common sense with his play calling and evans at qb. Our running game was unstoppable and we were already in fg range before both ints were thrown, so he's an idiot for even calling a pass play(especially on the 2nd one).

as an ECU fan,

-We have a secondary with the intensity of a wet paper bag.
- Neither one of our QB's are complete which is why we use two.
- We could have won our side of the division yesterday but instead lost to 1-8 Marshall, a team that 1-AA New Hampshire State dropped 48 points on at home

All frustration aside, our players bust their asses for us on the gridiron and we love them for it. I know alot of you were feeling really shitty about your team before the W over ECU.... early talk about bball but then 4 good wins later you're back in the saddle. No, Evans wont play football on Sundays but support the poor bastard. You guys were spoiled w/ Rivers and after 4 years, growing impatient for another signature QB. Guys like that normally end up at SEC or Big 10 schools. You cant replace Evans with someone like that as bad as you wish so just stick with your guy for now instead of calling for his head. i really didnt think as many of you would be this upset after a win over carolina, albeit a CLOSE one

Evans admitted that he made 2 terrible throws. Other than that, he played a good game. I'll even give him a break on the 2nd interception because that shit was catchable....

...I think the play call to not run it was stupid as fuck considering how well we had run the ball AND that we were in field goal range AND that their offense couldnt do shit against us even with great field position.

TWW is where we come to bitch and complain about... well damn near everything. State fans came out in force ON THE ROAD at ECU to watch their 1-5 team play a game they were supporsed to lose. You think they did that to make sure Evans/Beck knew precisely how shitty we thought they were? No, State fans support their team through good times and bad. Carter-Finley is loud as fuck whether we're 6-0 or 1-5. What we say behind closed doors means nothing compared to the love and support given to the players and coaches on the field.

Classifying anything I've said as, "my players are good no matter what" is ridiculous...he's not great, he won't be...no one is saying that...but he and the rest of the team are getting it done. He doesn't deserve all the credit by any means, but dang he has been playing QB and he does deserve some credit haha. So just support him some. Anyone played football or really knows anything about it, knows that a pick 6 is a just a lucky situational thing 95% of the time. If Evans had gone 26-42 for 229 yards 1 TD and 2 picks (that didn't happen to go for TDs), it would have been different reactions.

I definitly understand that this is a board, where people come to bitch and complain...but some of the crap is just over the top and just stupid
