This is supposed to be the kids' attempt at a "real" community. If you can tell me any work environment where you have a bunch of workers doing a small, equal level of work, and then one person shining way above them, regardless of motive, and that person doesn't get a raise (the gold star), then you are lying off your ass. It doesn't matter if Greg is a little shit (which he is), the fact is that in real life, people are motivated by shit things (money), and he seems to be the one motivated the most. If he doesn't get a star, he's totally in the right to be pissed.

This show reminds me a lot of Lost, in that there are the 8-10 "main characters" and then all of the sudden we get people crawl out of the background and they just pretend like they were there all along.

I was about to say, if Taylor had won the election then it would have been a classic case of an incompetent leader being elected because they can manipulate the masses.

I still feel bad for Mike. Not surprised that he lost, but I am surprised that it was a total massacre. There must have been a lot more stuff going on in the background with this Guylan kid.
