the conference isn't THAT bad. Its still better than the big east and on par with the pac10. Everyone sees it as "best team in the acc loses to jmu" Just because vt is overrated doesn't mean the conference is shitty. 9/11/2010 5:13:19 PM |

if this is the future of fsu football, then maybe we can dump them and replace them with a big east team like pitt like I've always wanted to, they add nothing in basketball and academics either 9/11/2010 5:42:45 PM |

the ACC has to stop doing shit like this. EIGHT fucking road games against BCS schools. The SEC has two in the first 3 weeks - Bama at Duke and Kentucky at Louisville. That's it - not exactly a murderers row. The ACC loses on the road/at neutral sites to teams like Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn, West Virginia, Boise State, LSU, and USC and get crucified for not winning games in which they weren't favored. It's bad business to try and step up instead of producing a solid group of undefeated, untested teams (as shitty as it is to say that).

what makes no damn sense is how the SEC can have played just three OOC road games TOTAL in the first month of the season. 9/29/2010 5:31:06 PM |

Georgia seems to really be the only SEC team that goes and plays other major opponents in OOC road games. Maybe LSU, UT and Auburn, but the others do not. UF's track record for OOC games is shameful. 9/29/2010 5:41:53 PM |

^ eh, I feel like its still too early to say all that. They have a bunch of ranked teams but only Stanford has consistently dominated decent opponents. Oregon padded their stats by beating up on a bunch of shitty teams.
ASU would have beat Oregon if they hadn't been so busy throwing interceptions. ASU nearly put up 600 yards of total offense against them and held them to 150 yards rushing (Oregon's average was like 380 coming into that game). I will not be surprised in the least if Stanford curb stomps Oregon into oblivion on Saturday. 9/29/2010 7:27:13 PM |
