synapse, I was making a legitimate point before Golovko derailed this shit. Half the people who are moderators are never on the forums anymore. There needs to be an evaluation of all the moderators and those who are never active need to be canned.

Examples:

Maverick has posted 12 times in the past 4 months.
CassTheSass hasn't posted in a month. Seems to be regular before then, so I don't know what's up.
bartleby has a spotty post history for the past year. The first page of his most recent post history extends into September of 2006.
JAllen1127 has had 50 posts in the past four years. Why the hell is he a moderator?

Another suggestion:

Remove the watermark tagging of uploaded images. Since hotlinking has already been removed, there's no point and they just get in the way.

Make a NSFW section.

This could be done by renaming Chit-Chat and just making Lounge the "general topic" section. We don't need both lounge and chit-chat for general conversation.

All the other college sites do this by having a "red light district" section.

maverick is still somewhat active - even if it's only in the moderator forum and not posting in other sections...
cass is the same way just doesn't post quite as much

Some final rules on NSFW images in threads would be nice. For instance:

1. Should a topic be marked NSFW if the first post is NSFW?
2. Should someone be able to post a NSFW image in a thread not marked NSFW?
3. If an image is NSFW but also gross, should that indicated?
4. Would these rules apply to all sections (including Chit Chat)?
5. Will you update the "Posting Guidelines" to reflect this?

foto comments need editability by the owner of the pics otherwise ppl could leave permanent crap in the comments...not to mention if comments in foto galleriy even think about support
the ppl on here would do so much to each other through foto comments that the feature would be removed again in less than a month.

sometimes i see a wrecked car, funny photoshop, etc. and i want to know what the story is associated with that pic. i could save a good few seconds rather than hunting down their name in the lame ass numerical user list.
