yea, the whole cutting the phone lines and knife in the bed is suspicious to say the least, however and this is just my personal opinion but if what the others have said is true and he was trying to clean up his act, he probably pissed off a lot of people in the process. It is easy as heck to get into some messed up BS and can cost you your life trying to get out of it, which in the case of Sean Taylor may have. This is purely speculative but you never know how some people/groups might act when the high rolling and big money dude is that is fronting them or assisting them decides to pull out. I hope that this was just some robbery gone horribly wrong and that we all look like fools later for even thinking it could be the other way but at the moment we are fans and this is what fans do, assume the worst, hope for the best. That does not diminish the fact that he was yet another young man that lost his life way too earlier in America. Whether he was black, white, asian, indian, "thug" or not doesn't matter, a dead life is still a life that can never be replaced.

Sean Taylor was my favorite player on my favorite sports team. When I go to Skins games, I would watch him on the defense almost exclusively. I've never seen a game-changer in the secondary like that, and I used to watch Champ all the time. He was something else from that position. Football-wise, he will definitely be missed.

It is a weird feeling to not know a person at all, and the only reason you know of them is something as silly and pointless as sports, yet still feel completely floored and devastated by the loss.

And, yeah, the Sean Taylor ride has been a weird one. And yes, the "ST has changed" articles have existed before the last two days. And maybe they were true, maybe not. But it is worth realizing that sometimes these types of problems are not interpersonal, but societal, and that either way, a loss is a loss.

So, my point is, who cares why you think he was shot? Fuck you, you didn't get shot and die. So shut up.

Wilbon knows as much about what happened as any of is. All this is, is speculation, which is fine... Honestly, knowing his history, I'm more inclined to think this more than likely isn't random but I'm certainly not ruling it out (you guys aren't either).

i have no clue what happened except he was shot in the leg at his house late sunday night/monday morning and he later died

however I also know he used a plea bargain to get out of a triple felony

its not like this guy has a squeaky clean past

so why cant we speculate on what happened? its not like we're saying he deserved to die...and its certainly not like we're talking shit to his family...we're simply doing what people everywhere are doing, and talking about possibilities
