For richer or poorer ... or according to the postnuptial agreement

I'm a single father for the next four days.

I've never taken care of this child 24/7 by myself before.

I'm thinking i'm going to surprise my parents this weekend with a visit.

You now dont need to worry about child support if you want to start a family....just go to a "egg bank" and then they fertized it with your junk...then put it into a "host" until delivery. Just cost around $100K...that is what Clay did...since the birth mother is not really the mother by blood, it lessons the chance that she would want to keep the baby. Less baby momma drama!

^^^

hahaha, reading that post is kinda funny 6 months later.

I'm a seasoned pro now.

One thing that's kind of ironic is how much of a chick magnet a baby is. Whenever I take my daughter out to a mall, grocery store or anywhere in public, i get mobbed by the womens.

took my ex back to court yesterday...

After 2 court hearings, one mediation session, $10,000 in lawyer's fees, nearly 3 years, and pressing a contempt charge for her violating the previous visitation order, I [if]finally[/i] am getting to spend time with my little girl! I get her for a little over 2 weeks, then she comes back to FL, then I get her for a MONTH!

On top of all that, my ex lied under oath in court and got caught--she claimed that I hadn't seen my daughter in 22 months!, which is not even CLOSE to being accurate. I more or less proved it by calling in my mom as a witness, who told the exact same story that I'd just told. I'll produce the airline ticket receipts, pictuers of me with my daughter, etc at the next hearing. There's another thing or two that I think I can prove that she was lying about, too. Should be a bad day for her at the next day in court.

Goddamn you're stuck with a heinous lying bitch as the mother of your child. I bet that wench would get mad at you if in 3 years your daughter was like "Why doesn't daddy love me?" because she was keeping you from seeing her.

Damn, for 10K I bet you could have found a way to make your problem permanently disappear.

I don't want my little girl to grow up without her mother (although I would prefer to be the more dominant influence in her life).

I had her for a couple of hours last night, then all day today. Her mother has her from 4-7 pm tonight, then I have her until 9-noon tomorrow morning, then I can come to NC with her for over 2 weeks! After that, she comes back to FL for 2 weeks, and then I have her for a solid month!

If she keeps fucking with me, I will. I don't yet have the grounds to have custody changed, though.

^^^ that's great - congrats!

also, no reason whatsoever for the two of you to not have 50/50 custody. you get her when you're here, she gets her when you're deployed. kills the child support issue too. sounds like the kid would be better off not learning teh crazy at her momma's knee.

i don't think that'll happen.

if I can get custody, though, her mother can have her as much of the time as she wants. i'd even allow 50/50 in the agreement, and would let her have her more than that periodically, if she wanted. i'm not out to keep my little girl from her mother.

duke, thats good of you to want the 50/50 and be willing to do more

when my parents got divorced when i was 4, my dad was only awarded like 2 weeks a year but my mom let him take me for the whole summer, anywhere from 6-8 weeks. those extra weeks made a difference and while having 50/50 would have been better, the fact that my mom let him take me more than the legally required amount benefitted me as a child spending time with my dad.
