ALRIGHT I have two weeks till the dyno day. Need to get the rear end situated and the crankcase breather system installed. THat means finding an open carrier for a 7.5 rear (ordered a mini spool) and probably dropping the headers from the heads to get access to drill the holes and weld in the tubes...

Secondary items are remounting the fans, switching to straight water, installing a rad. catch can, and getting a better crank pulley. Should also either clean the plugs or replace them and recheck my timing...

I can drill and weld the e-vac system up for ya. Since you are going to pull the headers, change the plugs.

nah nah nah not quite. i am gonna drop the headers, and let them droop. you can still do the welding, but the car will be on the lift. and i can change the plugs with them in place just fine.

dyno day details are in the other thread. durr.

got new plugs in the car, runs much much better. probably going to replace them again before headed down to the dyno on saturday. does not look like I will have time to get the breather system or the rear end done though... i have been spending a lot of time scrubbing the seats.

Well, using the standard 15% driveline loss equation, you end up with right around 357 flywheel. I'd say that a TH350 with a higher-than-stock stall in it may be on the high side of that, so maybe 360-370-ish.

Still, not bad and good to see someone messing with that car again. I remember when T had a solid-cammed 383 in that thing with 210CC Dart heads. Seemed pretty stout 7 or 8 years ago.

Nothing's happening, except the pepper still being your father. I work a lot these days, that's about it man.

And yea, last I heard that car had a stock-ish 396 in it. And Hondas had hamsters. Well maybe except for the S2000s, they have gerbils.

Well, I consider a big block making less than 500 horsepower to generally be stock-ish.
If it had rectangular heads, a solid roller, and a single plane intake, then, well, maybe not

What's been happenin K? It's been a while. You hear Big Rawlee is gettin hitched?
