yea it was awesome to see the jimmy v video up there but i dont like how they overlayed the other bball footage over it.

but what i really don't like is sidney lowe's "thanks coach! now come on wolfpack fans let's check out the starting line-up!" or whatever the heck he says. that part just kills the momentum.

but whatever, it was still pretty cool.

Looking at the box score it appears Javi added nothing to this game. We still suck at free throws and 3 pointers.

i liked the pregame video, it was a nice mix of old & new.

SCST was bad, but i really felt like we improved in many areas this game. The Pack was showing some good intensity, especially scrapping for loose balls & rebounds. Harris was a good change of pace in the game to boost confidence and grab some rebounds. We also had some nice passes from the guards inside to the big men for some easy baskets. Hopefully we can carry a small bit of momentum from this in David's son.

For the guy who said Horner sucks ass, I guess you have not been paying attention to the games. He is playing with A LOT of heart and kicking ass at that. Some good defense too. We looked good, not great but we shall see how we are on Friday vrs Davidson. Hopefully the student section won't be too dead but I have a bad feeling it will be Either way we played a lot better!

From what I have seen of Horner, Harris, and Smith... They may not have the athleticism or speed of our starters, but they definately hussle and put forth a lot more effort than our starters do.

I would rather see a group with hardly any talent that busts their ass every game than a bunch of superstarts who don't try.

Also, is it just me or does Sid always put McCauley in with all the second string guy's. It looked like he would play all 5 starters, and then when he put McCauley in, it would be all bench players. Wouldn't it make more sense to mix it up more than just 5 starters and then 5 bench players?

I'd really like to see more of McCauley and Hickson in the game at the same time...but I guess for that to be effective we would need better outside shooters.

How in the fuck do we manage to miss that many layups? That shit is supposed to be a gimme. It wouldn't be so bad if we were missing because they fouled us. The only problem is we're as bad at the line as we are at trying to make a layup.
