As to the original topic, I used to HATE to fucking load/unload a dishwasher. Still don't like it, but I do it now. I contribute to the pile, and if somebody cooks for me, then I'm cleaning.

ha, i was in a foul mood the other day and when one of them walked in i laid into him concerning the fact that he "washes" dishes and puts them into the drying rack with FOOD STILL STUCK TO THEM

his response? "i didn't see it, i guess i just thought it was water"...maybe once, but every time you "wash" the damn dishes in the past 8 months?

it really pisses me off because it's come to the point where they both know i'll wash the dishes because i like having CLEAN plates and silver to eat off of...but since it's my dinnerware, i think it might end up being stored in my closet and they can get their own dishes

see I make it a fucking point to wash every dish that I use immediately after I cook
I make dinner, eat, clean up - that's how that shit works

but the sink still fills up with dishes
he'll let empty glasses pile up near his computer and then he "cleans up" by putting them all in the sink to rest for another week

right now the sink has two dirty pots (one of them only stayed clean for around 8 hours max because I washed it last night) and a ton of glasses... the water is backing up because nobody (but me) ever cleans out the drains
