those three days a week you have off are def $ making potential - a busy waffle house will let you smoke/curse on the sales floor, and you will have you own tables day #2. if you work a busy shift you stand to earn 100/night easy, and it's such a slack as fuck job you can just walk off if you don't like it, and come back the next day they will bring you back on...that place is laughable, but i got off the streets working at waffle house on hillsborough st. 3rd shift for 6 months...i moved straight into an apt in cary, and have not been homeless since(this was back in '99).

training depends on where you work. usually doesn't take that long. corporate chanis probably have longer training than other places ( i dunno...i've never worked at a chain). but def depends on the place
