You can also see the game on espn 360. Adu should play wing midfield for the senior national team and take the free kicks instead of Donovan, but that probably won't happen.

I thought Adu was awesome the entire game. Chad Barrett is horrible and I used to not be a big fan of Dax McCarthy but I thought he was pretty good tonight

Yeah, I definitely agree about Jozy being a disappointment but still, Adu deserves some love when he actually plays good because everybody takes a dump on him every time he's not amazing

look, I'm not defending his play against Cuba but you can't expect somebody to score a goal every single game. The fact he was waiting on service from Findley/Davies (forwards who were playing outside midfield) didn't help anything either

apparently you havent been wathing the epl, michael owen is awful, that was more of a compliment towards altidore, as in i think jozy is better than owen right now

well. overall from this tourney, i was not impressed with kljestan and mccarty, both of which stood out as not that great. i doubt kljestan will be dropped come olympics, just have that feeling. but i hope that neither of these 2 start come olympics. maybe they will be replaced by donovan, beasley, or dempsey when the 3 players older than 23 are allowed to join.

the one thing i did like from the outcome of this game, is that our set pieces for this u-23 team were terrible today, which shows that Adu is really good with them(since he didnt play today).

I thought Howard was a popular choice for one of the over 23'ers. I've also heard somebody like Cherundolo but who knows. It's probably a pretty fair guess that LA don't want Donovan gone, considering they're going to need all the help they can get.

Donovan placed the ball well on both goals, with Bocanegra heading in the first off a free kick, and Onyewu heading in the 2nd off a corner. maybe landon saw adu's recent performances with the u-23s and decided to step up his free kicks
