I’m still incredulous that a decision like this has been made with so little time before campout with no regard to the students. If only 1450 tickets can be given out at campout, why would you allow more than twice that number of students participate? What incentive does any student have now to actually attend the camp out? They have a 50% chance of getting a ticket after camping out in the cold all night, or they can click a mouse a few times and have roughly the same chance of getting tickets and no need to camp out. Is this an attempt to bring the camp out tradition to an end, because it sure appears that way. This is my fifth year as a student at NC State, and never have I been more embarrassed by the disorganization of the student ticket system. An entire bowl of the student section in the RBC center was empty for the Wake Forest basketball game. With the way the ticket system is randomized, there’s no way that sheer chance caused that many students with adjacent seats to not show up . It’s quite obvious that those seats were just not awarded. The worst part about that is that to everyone on the outside it just makes the students look bad. I’ve heard rumblings from several alumni that are chastising the students for not showing up to a big four rivalry game and are calling for tickets to be taken away from students and sold to the public. I truly hope that there is still time to correct this problem before this campout becomes disastrous. I know I’m not the only student that won’t be happy if the rules to the campout (still posted on the student ticket website this very minute, mind you) are suddenly changed at the last minute. I chose to campout for tickets to this game because I am very passionate about supporting our team at every game. For a game of this magnitude, I would hate to see over 1400 students that share the same passion I have be denied tickets so that students that don’t care as much can go. This is the biggest home game of the season and the more passionate the students there are, the better environment it will be. Don’t reward our passion with a slap in the face. It takes pride in our program to be willing to camp out all night to get tickets. This pride should be reflected in the stands on February 20 for all to see. Please Don’t Let Me Down, Me Student "

the servers are open all night. you can get adverse weather crime alerts at 2am.

this whole thing doesn't even exist and is an inside job by the student body to decrease the amount of people that show up. it will be swept under the rug and disregarded played off as an administrative miscommunication monday morning and life will go on as usual with a slap on the wrist.

I say we just start selling the student tickets to the highest 2900 bidders in the student body for each game

Hit em in the wallet, that'll weed out the students who don't really care about being at the game but apply for a ticket anyway because, "hell, why not its free!", I'd also wager that the number of no shows would drop to about zero

HAHA, this is the first i've heard of this, and to think i was mad about them overbooking it to begin with. This is outrageous.

Not only this, but also more stringent campout restrictions. Is there any way to not campout anymore without a penalty. I can find someone who hates bball and use their ticket. It's just completely bogus. For those of use who love the sport, we're out there. I have to leave right at 7am and be somewhere else all weekend...clalcalasdhgasghasjdfasgg
