Blacks didn't have equality under the law until the 60s, and even then, there was some debate about if they should be able to. You're delusional if you don't see how institutionalized racism (that is FAR more recent than slave days) has negatively affected the black community.

There technically is a double standard about "white pride" but that's because whites brought it on themselves (as BridgetSPK accurately noted). If you can somehow go back in time and stop white people from being racist, then maybe you can have your white pride club.

Also, the majority of white people who seriously think whites are being oppressed ARE racist, and these are the same people that would also bitch about not being able to have white pride (which is also BS because you CAN have white pride, but if you're racist, you'll just come off as a douche), so it's very difficult for any non-hate based white pride movement to gain any traction.

In any case, the majority of western culture is very white-oriented, so it's not like there aren't tons of opportunities for you to be proud of your whiteness, that other races don't have.
