Howard/Earl-you'll probably know the answer to this..... Assuming that 6 teams are a lock to win in the first round, what are the odds of picking a perfect bracket? There are 63 games all together, but assume 57 games as 6 are "locks".

ya but if you used common sense instead of top 50 wins vt was a lock (cmon acc top 4) maryladn and wake should have been in

if other conference are getting 7 and 8. thing is looking at top 50 wins isn't fair because beating the 51 team is much different than beating the 180 team and the acc is all decent teams. most of the acc is probably 50-150. there were no nights off in the conference. ncstate was 3-0 in big east play but the worst team in the acc. that should tell you something.

^ thats not really a possible problem. the only way i could get an answer is to assume every team has a 50 50 chance of winning each game. maybe earl has abetter solution

lol, it tells me we played the mediocre ACC teams.

If we played Pitt, WVU and even Syracuse we likely would have been 0-3... and those aren't even any of the Top 4 in the conference. The Villanova win was a gift for the most part too, but still a Q-win.

we played a tourney team and 2 teams that weren't at the bottom. if we played the worst 3 acc teams (fsu, uva, bc)it would be much harder than that.
