^^ ha. i didn't get "caught" in the sense that they told me i violated the contract, they just decided they didn't approve of how my life was going so they weren't gonna help me out

in other words, they never really determined that you specifically violated the contract...they just kinda read between the lines and figured you were probably violating it?

His parents must have been pretty sheltered too if they believed for a second that the contract would actually stay unviolated. I'm hoping they just did to see what they could get away with.

Another thought: Maybe they setup ridiculous guidelines because when he broke them, he would just be acting normally. This is instead of setting normal guidelines then having him behave ridiculously to break them.

Technically, this contract is NOT binding because it lacks any consideration on the part of your parents. You are supposed to give up things you have a legal right for (smoking, drinking, fapping, etc.) but have they promised anything (car, money, betrothment to hot chick)? Not from reading the first post they haven't.s

My mom just settled for calling with whatever BS Focus on the Family was blathering about that week/day. One time about two months after I made it to NC State she was like "they said you could get involved with drinking, gambling, and pornography" and I thought "I'm already into 2/3 of those".

Bwaaahaaa, my mother was/is a huge focus on the family nut. Looking back at it, it scares the shit out of me the stuff that was in those magazines! Turning gays straight, how evil abortion is, etc.
