i think that the new course of action is to merely send her an email our text message informing her that because she's unreachable, you've decided that she doesnt deserve to be in your wedding and that she doesnt need to worry about showing up at all.

obviously her new boyfriend is more important to her than the years of friendship that you two have had.

i had my college roommate (who i knew for 4 years in high school) meet a new guy, and become super obsessed with him. she dropped out of college and moved to denver with him, where she proceeded to get knocked up. we haven't spoken since she left. some people can't deal with friends and boyfriends at the same time.

"I bet you picked out the bridesmaids you wanted before you met the BF. You already know they will be trouble but plan to ask them anyway. And women wonder why everyone else thinks they are batshit crazy."

The one that may be problematic is the boyfriend's sister in law. His brother met the woman and got married since the boyfriend and I started dating. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. Not inviting her would be tantamount to starting a war.

ANYway, I would agree with Luna, above. It's the fact that she is unreachable and avoiding you that means she should be out of there. If there was drama, but she's trying to hide and wait for it to all blow over, instead of trying to work things out, that's a really bad sign.

Haha...well, a lot developed.

She got into major fights with her roomates again, and got into a fight with me because I woudln't side with her. (She and her b/f had a "romantic night" at the apartment and she got wax all over another roomate's furniture and refused to clean it up or pay for it).

So she ran to her parents and complained about how evil we all were, and how she was the victim, and how we all are just hating her because we're jealous...so they took her and her b/f to the beach for a week.

Sooo...I figure I"ll just be quiet another 30 days or so until it gets to the point she can't return the dress and will only have a choice of maybe store credit.

I'm feeling passive aggressive.

maybe you should just grow some balls and tell her she can't be in the wedding.... even if you do wait until after she can't return the dress.

i hate confrontation, so i can understand that you wouldn't want to talk to her about how you don't want her in the wedding, but this really isn't one of those situations you can just ignore and it'll go away.

I'm gonna come in late and probably repeat some stuff.

I can't imagine why you would want this girl in your wedding because she sounds horrible (how does she have any friends?). So I suspect that this behavior must be a new and recent thing. In that case, you shouldn't kick her out of your wedding. Try to accomodate her in the wedding in all her fantastically fucked up glory. I think she needs you right now.

tell her it is at a different church like the day after you really get hitched, and make her ass get all dressed up for nothing. Hell, pretend to smooth things out and even offer to let her man get a tux and be in it. Have a photographer at the other place too and post the pics on here.

if you let this girl be a part of your wedding day, you are going to regret it in the long run. considering the petty small stuff she does, you can only imagine how things will evolve during the actual wedding.
there is no reason to try and salvage this sort of so-called friendship. it's hard to cut someone out of your life that has been such an integral part for so long, i know, but you're just going to cause yourself more misery by having to deal with her altogether. don't worry about the bitch ... just kick her in the cunt and out of the wedding.

In a way, I'm glad you made this thread.

I have a friend who sounds very similar to this girl you're dealing with. Normally she's fine but god forbid she start dating someone or whatever her drama flavor of the month is. Then she becomes a petty crazy bitch.

Anyway, once upon a time when we were closer friends I had the whimsical thought that I would make her part of my wedding party. But after following this saga, I now know to not even think about extending the offer to her. She would cause drama just like this x 2 lol.

As the maid of honor for an upcoming wedding, I can say that if one of my bridesmaids was acting a fool like that, I'd put her ass in her place. Our job is to keep stress OFF the bride and that girl seems like she doesn't have a clue.

Look at it this way...here you are, trying to salvage this friendship OVER your WEDDING and she is choosing her new BOYFRIEND over YOUR happiness and WEDDING!

I would bend over backwards for my bestest whose wedding is in November. She obviously isn't as good of a friend as you are making her out to be if she would rather please a boy than make your once in a lifetime special day all it should be and more.

After reading the thread, this actually some pretty good drama. I can't wait to hear how this turns out. It's better than UPN.
