^i was in scholars for a semester and then realized how pointless and time consuming it was compared to other things i could add to my resume.

maybe the scholar's program does take up a little bit of free time, but i enjoyed it. they gave me free tickets to concerts and shows that i would have otherwise paid for.

exactly, it's good for the first few semesters for early registration when you're taking the same classes as 90% of the rest of your college, but after that it's a pretty pointless waste of time
