begonias is upgraded to Athena and aaprior can be Diana, neither of which are Amazon goddesses but a Greek and Roman goddess respectively, with Athena being higher than Diana. Now all the wonder women of T-dub are happy!

When a woman wants to stop competing how does she not get flabby?

She probably still matches her calorie intake to her calorie expenditures. She just has to eat less, or she is doing a lot of cardio, which would explain the weight loss of 12 pounds in the off season, since she would lost muscle size.

I'm *in* season right now-- that's why I've lost 12 pounds *since* off-season (~ two months ago). I'm currently weight training with the same intensity as I did during off-season though this past week I started to notice a pretty dramatic decrease in my strength (ie: bench press was ~ 170lbs several weeks ago, now 135lbs is a real chore). I'm taking in 1500-2000 calories a day and doing 45 minutes of interval training on the elliptical each day (500-700 calories) before I weight train. I eat between 150-200 grams of whey protein each day to maintain my muscle mass.

I am aware of that but if you aren't as intense in weight training I would think tone would go down significantly especially because we have to typically work so much harder to gain defined muscle mass.

I doubt that someone who competes is going to stop working out all together when they've retired

When bodybuilders/figure/fitness people are *in-season* they drop weight. When in offseason they gain weight. I'm in season, competing in a month so im droping weight. Hope that cleared up the confusion hehe =)

"tone" is a function of bodyfat percentage. Lower bodyfat=more "tone". In the "in" season, you reduce bfpercentage, which lowers weight.

yeah, once its in your blood you never really stop, baring extreme injury. my dad was in the marine corps for 29 years and constantly worked out, but a year or two ago he got a herniated disk while traveling and was in bed for a long time. Now that he's just about recovered he is working out again...I think he said its his goal to lift his body weight every year on his birthday and he's a little over 200 probably.

I would still marry a NPC bodybuilder. You would never have to worry about her getting fat...which is a biggggg turnoff for me.

And before u all bash, I realize big girls need lovin to, but I'm not the one that will be giving them any. That is for you, if you so desire.

maybe not "fat" in the fatty unhealthy sense but aren't they still going to be pretty like big. like muscle big?

and i don't know which is worse fat or manly. i guess fat. but i don't like the body building look. defined muscles are one thing but really thick necks and small heads on really built bodies are like too much for me.

edit: ok SOME of the pictures of "bodybuilders" are ok but then some of them are way too scary. i guess you have to pick and choose, pick and choose.

^ no no, is there something wrong with being a bodybuilder? Like I said earlier it's a artform/ sport you and probably no one can explain except by people who understand it. The only explanation is the drive and desire of someone wanting to have that ulimate physique.

Explain to me fucking abstract painting? That's the same exact thing, different art form.

At least she's healthy and enjoys what she does.

no, i'll explain it to you. you take the female form which is smooth and beautiful and you add muscle tone to it, a masculine quality. that's not art, nor is it attractive.

but that's just my opinion. not that she's an ugly girl, but she'd be better looking w/o working to attain a man-body.

^^^^^^

lifting weights (and doing it hardcore, like a serious male athlete) will make women HOT. most women play around in the gym, and it doesn't do them all that much good. Women will not naturally get big bulky muscles like a man--they don't have the hormonal support to do it.

we all agree that 'roided out shemale looking bodybuilders are gross.

most of the women that "play around" in the gym are still more physically fit than most women and thus hotter...
