Romo out = Giants win.
If Witten is out, this could be ugly.
I dunno their defense played well against Tampa but they aren't near the team the Giants are. 10/28/2008 1:27:31 AM |

bears aint going nowhere with that D they got this year
18th in total defense!
gave up 41 to minnesota!
sacrificed great defense for mediocre offense
Bears will be lucky to get into playoffs 10/29/2008 10:58:50 AM |

Lets see how this is going:
Stay Healthy and focused. -> No Save some of the playbook for the end of the year. -> They need it now. Develop receiver talent to find suitable #2 receiver to compliment T.O. -> Roy Williams is going to be a great addition for the Cowboys, but it was a pretty heavy price tag. Probably worth it. Keep Roy Williams off the field during obvious "3rd and passing" situations. -> I can't believe they are still not doing this.
I don't see Phillips around for much longer. I do see the team getting better this year and still making the playoffs. They are a great team but have to work on actually playing as a team. Speaking of that, Giants this week.10/31/2008 2:27:56 PM |

Bollinger = slightly less garbage.

Marion Barber won this game almost by himself with Romo and Witten still struggling with injuries.
Also a great defensive effort to keep points off the board.

They probably need to finish 10-6 to make playoffs
meaning they would have to go 4-2 in these next 6 games
12 Sun, Nov 23 San Francisco 13 Thu, Nov 27 Seattle 14 Sun, Dec 7 @ Pittsburgh 15 Sun, Dec 14 NY Giants 16 Sat, Dec 20 Baltimore 17 Sun, Dec 28 @ Philadelphia
schedule is favorable. They will probably lose at Pittsburgh and against the G men but those games could go either way 11/17/2008 9:56:24 AM |
packboozie All American 17452 Posts user info edit post |
They pretty much have to beat SF and SEA.....and Hasselback is back now, how lucky.
That puts them at 8-4. They would need a split of Pitt, NYG, Bal, and Philly. It could be done if Romo can heal up and the team stays healthy. 11/17/2008 2:15:12 PM |

I hate them too. I am a die hard Green Bay Packers Fan. I just happened to be at the game last night with a buddy who is a die hard Skins fan, and I was just making an observation. That was a MUST win for the Cowboys in my opinion, but yes hate me some Cowboys. 11/17/2008 6:47:03 PM |

Every time they go deep to Owens I assume he will drop it.
FUCK YEA T.O., way to catch one finally and do what your job description says to do. 11/23/2008 1:50:05 PM |

Wow so Romo and T.O. looked great today. Hopefully Witten is okay....
And the D held Gore to 26 yards, a good feat.
One gimme win down, one more next week. PLZ to take care of business before going gets tough. 11/24/2008 1:50:31 AM |

^^They could have if they wanted to and Barber hadn't got hurt.
If Barber is hurt, this team is done. Ware looked fine at the end.
2/2 on the easy games. 3/4 puts them in playoffs at 11-5. Pitt, NYG, BAL, and PHI gonna be tough. 11/27/2008 10:11:17 PM |

That play was all Owens and luck. Romo chucked it to Owens general direction; fortunately the Pit guy was turning/not paying attention. I was honestly surprised to see no interception.

Romo read the mind of the DB guarding Owens and knew that 1.6 seconds after he threw the ball the DB would be turning around. 12/7/2008 6:51:14 PM |

there was certainly a bit of fortune involved with that pass to TO in the endzone, but it wasn't straight up luck. Has a lot more to do with TO being a very big target, an extended play that makes it even more difficult for a db to look back at the qb, and a pretty decent throw by Romo. 12/7/2008 6:56:54 PM |
